CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-382 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ADJUSTING WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND WATER <br /> CONNECTION FEE8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the need for an eight million gallon water reservoir has <br /> been established and the Council has authorized plans <br /> and specifications to be prepared; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report of the financial consultant recommends <br /> adjustment to the water service fees and water <br /> connection fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No. 77-123 (Establishing Fees and Charges for <br /> Various Municipal Services)is the present repository for <br /> listing of ees and charges for the City of Pleasanton <br /> and it is appropriate to amend it at this time; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 77-123 (A Resolution Establishing fees <br /> for Various Municipal Service of the City of <br /> Pleasanton), Section VI, subsection 2 (Water Charge) is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> 2. Water Charge Per 100 Cubic Feet <br /> <br /> 0-3000 cu. ft. $0,556 <br /> 3001-5000 cu. ft. 0.608 <br /> 5001- 0.660 <br /> <br />Section 2: Resolution No. 77-123, Section VII (Water Connection <br /> Fees), subsection A, is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> A. For each single family house, or any other use that <br /> is determined by the City Engineer or his duly <br /> appointed representative to have a water demand <br /> equivalent to that of a single family house, for <br /> normal domestic type water uses only, there shall <br /> be a connection fee charged for each service <br /> connection as indicated in the following three year <br /> graduated fee table. <br /> <br /> This shall be the minimum charge for all uses. For <br /> all other uses, for each service connection, a <br /> charge shall be made as established in the <br /> following table depending on the size of the meter <br /> required for that service connection as determined <br /> by the City Engineer or his duly appointed <br /> representative. <br /> <br /> <br />
