CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-380 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF B-W CONSTRUCTION AND FIRST INTERSTATE <br /> BANK FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 28-UNIT <br /> TOWNHOUSE COMPLEX ON 2.4 ACRES LOCATED AT 553 ST. JOHN <br /> STREET (PUD-87-20) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of B-W Construction Company and First <br /> Interstate Bank for development plan approval to <br /> construct a 28-unit residential townhouse complex, to be <br /> located on approximately 2.4 acres at 553 St. John <br /> Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated May 19, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed development <br /> plan would not have any significant adverse effects on <br /> the environment: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of B-W Construction Company and First Interstate Bank <br /> for development plan approval to construct a 28-unit <br /> residential townhouse complex, to be located on <br /> approximately 2.4 acres at 553 St. John Street. <br /> (PUD-87-20) <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
