CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-378 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF BROOKSIDE DEVELOPMENT/BUDGET RENT-A-CAR <br /> FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL FOR AN AUTOMOBILE SALES AND RETAIL <br /> FACILITY ON 2.6 ACRES LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OP <br /> PIMLICO DRIVE APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET EAST OF ITS <br /> INTERSECTION WITH SANTA RITA ROAD (PUD-87-11) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Brookside Development and Budget <br /> Rent-a-Car for Planned Unit Development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for an automobile sales and <br /> retail facility to be located on an approximately 2.6 <br /> acre site located on the north side of Pimlico Drive <br /> approximately 650 feet east of its intersection with <br /> Santa Rita Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated May 15, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Brookside Development and Budget Rent-a-Car for <br /> Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br /> approval for an automobile sales and retail facility to <br /> be located on an approximately 2.6 acre site located on <br /> the north side of Pimlico Drive approximately 650 feet <br /> east of its intersection with Santa Rita Road. <br /> (PUD-87-11) <br /> <br /> <br />
