CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-377 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF ROBERT BERKEY AND BERKEY MOTOR8 FOR <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL FOR CONSTRUCTION OF AN AUTOMOBILE SALES/SERVICE <br /> FACILITY ON 5.0 ACRES LOCATED AT 4350 ROSEWOOD DRIVE <br /> (PUD-87-7) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Robert Berkey and Berkey Motors for <br /> Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan <br /> approval for construction of a two building, <br /> approximately 40,800sq. ft. automobile sales/service <br /> facility to be located on an approximately 5.0 acre site <br /> at 4350 Rosewood Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated May 1, 1987 and received the recommendations <br /> of the staff and Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Robert Berkey and Berkey Motors for Planned Unit <br /> Development rezoning and development plan approval for <br /> construction of a two building, approximately 40,800sq. <br /> ft. automobile sales/service facility to be located on <br /> an approximately 5.0 acre site at 4350 Rosewood Drive. <br /> (PUD-87-7) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
