CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-375 RE8OLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTION8 10 AND 11, CHANGING PARKING FROM ONE HOUR TO TWO HOURS ON MAIN STREET BETWEEN OLD BERNAL AVENUE AND THE 8OUTHERLY END WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 18, 1987, the City Council received and discussed a report from the Director of Public Works and Utilities (SR 87:374) related to a request to change parking from one hour to two hours on Main Street from Old Bernal Avenue to its southerly end; and WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79 to amend subsections 10m-3 and 10m-4 and to add subsection llm-1; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by changing subsections 10m-3 and 10m-4 to read as follows and to add subsection llm-1 as follows: lOm-3 Main Street, on the west side of Main Street from West Angela Street to Old Bernal Avenue. lOm-4 Main Street, on the east side of Main Street from East Ange].a Street to Abbie Street. llm-1 Main Street, on both sides of Main Street from Old Bernal Avenue to the southerly end of Main Street. Section 2: Directs the Traffic Committee to reevaluate the parking limit after Main Street is extended to (New) Bernal Avenue. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
