Bernal Community Park -Planned Facilities by Phase Phase I ^ 13.45 acres overall development size ^ Approximately 900 L.F. of roadway (Pleasanton Avenue) with typical electrolier roadway lighting ^ Two (2) roadway round-about with landscape up-lighting and landscaping ^ Two (2) lighted baseball diamonds (skinned infields) with built-in bleacher seating ^ One (1) informal, un-lighted baseball field ^ A.C. paved parking lot - 103 spaces ^ Central paved plaza area (between ball diamonds) ^ Lighted concrete pathways ^ Children's play apparatus area ^ Six (6) picnic tables (no group area) ^ Approximately 2 acres of ornamental shrub plantings in small, irregularly shaped planters throughout the Phase 1 site ^ Assortment of tree planting (with mulch groundcover) sprinkled throughout the site ^ 1,000 S.F. restroom building divided into Men's, Women's and Family portions ^ 1,200 S.F. masonry storage building divided into three (3) sections, for use by City and baseball leagues ^ Dumpster enclosure Capital Cost The City has awarded a construction contract for these improvements and the construction of the project is underway.
