Actions of the Planning Commission, October 24, 2007 <br />Commissioners Present: Phil Blank, Anne Fox, Kathy Narum, Greg O'Connor, Arne <br />Olson, and Jennifer Pearce. <br />Commissioner Absent: None. <br />PCUP-196, Rachelle Nuuyen <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate an indoor recreation facility for up to <br />40 children at the property located at 7071-7073 Commerce Circle. Zoning for the <br />property is I-G-40,000 (General Industrial) District. <br />Action Recommended: Approval. <br />Action Taken: Approved per staff, with the addition of two conditions that the applicant <br />(1) modify the floor plan to transfer the entry from the front to the rear facing the parking <br />lot; and (2) work with staff to clarify operations with respect to the drop-off and pick-up <br />of children. <br />Vote: 4-1 (Fox voted no). <br />The Commission then took a break, after which Commissioner Olson moved, seconded <br />by Commissioner Narum, to reconsider the decision. <br />Vote: 4-1 (Pearce voted no). <br />The Commission then continued the item to the November 14, 2007 meeting. <br />PCUP-201, Kwang Weon Seo <br />Application for a conditional use permit to operate an office and a warehouse for a <br />contractor business in the existing building located at 1249 Quarry Lane. Zoning for the <br />property is PUD-I (Planned Unit Development -Industrial) District. <br />Action Recommended: Approval. <br />Action Taken: Approved per staff. <br />Vote: 5-0. <br />Draft Circulation Element of the General Plan. <br />The Commission conducted the review of the Element and provided input and direction <br />to staff. <br />PAP-109 (PHUP-18), Rebecca Andrus <br />Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's denial of an application for anon-exempt home <br />occupation for wedding dress sales at the existing residence located at 3463 Windsor <br />Court. Zoning for the property is R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) District. <br />The Commission conducted the hearing and continued the item to the November 14, <br />2007 meeting. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
