She also asked that the garage not be exempt and the limit be <br />10,000 square feet, and she did not receive Council support. <br />Motion: It was m/s by Sullivan/Hosterman to introduce and waive first reading of Ordinance <br />No. 1951 approving the application of James Tong, Charter Properties (Oak Grove <br />Development), for PUD Development Plan approval, as filed under case PUD-33; and <br />Ordinance No. 1952 approving a development agreement between the City of Pleasanton and <br />Jennifer Lin and Frederic Lin regarding the Oak Grove Development with the addition of the <br />following conditions: a crossing guard be paid for by the applicant; installation of the <br />BernaVKottinger signal light be returned to the Council for approval; the change as proposed in <br />Exhibit 4 to Court 1 and that the relocated lot from Court 1 to a lot not designated as high <br />visibility; that Lots 2, 3 and 4 have a one-story condition; that roof heights be set at 25 feet; that <br />the project is not turned into a gated community at any time in the future; the teen-proofing <br />methods be evaluated; and that builders meet the green building ordinance and meet the 50 <br />point system. Second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 1957 amending Section 2.04.020 of the <br />Municipal Code concerning salaries for the Mayor and Councilmembers <br />City Manager Fialho said State law permits a Council to increase its salary by an amount no <br />more than 5% for each calendar year from the operative date of the last adjustment in salary, <br />which was December of 1990 when it was raised to $500 per month. The proposed ordinance <br />raises the salary to $950 per month for Councilmembers and $1050 per month for the Mayor. <br />New salaries would not take affect until the new Council term begins in December 2008. <br />There were no public speakers. <br />Motion: It was m/s by Cook-KalliolThorne to waive second reading and adopt Ordinance No. <br />1957 amending Section 2.04.020 of the Municipal Code concerning salaries for the Mayor and <br />Councilmembers.
