CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-357 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> ESTABLISHING THE SALARY AND SUPPLEMENTARY <br /> BENEFITS FOR CITY MANAGER JAMES R. WALKER, <br /> AND AMENDING THE BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to set the salary <br /> and supplementary benefits for the position of City <br /> manager; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the salary and supplementary benefits for City Manager <br /> Walker were set August 5, 1986, effective May 13, <br /> 1986; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of changing the current <br /> compensation for City Manager James R. Walker. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS; <br /> <br />Section 1. The salary and supplementary benefits for City Manager <br /> James R. Walker, effective May 13, 1987, shall be as <br /> set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporat- <br /> ed herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The salary and supplementary benefits set forth in <br /> Resolution No. 86-378 are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 3. The 1987-88 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is amen- <br /> ded accordingly. <br /> <br />Section 4.
