CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-353 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE GROWTH MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE (RZ-87-6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 4, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for an <br /> amendment to the Growth Management ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated June 26, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed Growth Management <br /> Ordinance amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed Growth <br /> Management Ordinance amendment would not have any <br /> significant adverse effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to <br /> the Growth Management Ordinance to eliminate extension <br /> of Growth Management approval beyond one year, revise <br /> procedures for exempt projects, modify the definitin of <br /> exempt projects, and any other amendment consistent with <br /> the goals and policies of the General Plan. (RZ-87-6) <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
