<br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Wednesday, July 11, 2007 <br /> <br />(Staff has reviewed the proposed changes against the recorded proceedings <br />and confirms that these Minutes are accurate.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission meeting of July 11, 2007, was called to order at 7:08 p.m. by <br />Chairperson Fox. <br /> <br /> <br />1.ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Donna Decker, Principal Planner; Julie Harryman, <br />Assistant City Attorney; Wes Jost, Development Services <br />Manager; Jenny Soo, Associate Planner; Leslie Mendez, <br />Assistant Planner; and Cory Emberson, Recording <br />Secretary. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: Commissioners Phil Blank, Anne Fox, Kathy Narum, Greg <br />O’Connor, and Arne Olson. <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Jennifer Pearce. <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />a. June 27, 2007 <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor noted that with reference to the last sentence of the third full <br />paragraph on page 14, “He inquired about the amount of latitude allowed by the 12- <br />percent to one-percent grade,” he was unsure of the context of the statement. He <br />indicated that he was inquiring about the amount of latitude the City had if the law was <br />12 percent; he did not know about the reference to the one-percent grade. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Connor noted that the second full paragraph on page 12 referring to <br />Chairperson Fox’s conversation with Jennifer Hosterman is confusing in terms of <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES July 11, 2007 Page 1 of 27 <br /> <br /> <br />
