PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1000 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton, recommending to the City Council the <br />approval of Zone Change No. 69-15, filed by American <br />Forest Products Corporation. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered Zone Amendment Petition No. 69-15, <br />filed by American Forest Products Corporation to <br />amend Sec. 3.100, Zoning Ordinance No. 520, to change <br />the zone district designation from A (Agricultural) <br />District to the C-S (Commercial Service) District, <br />on that property described as: <br />Parcel 3-4, Assessor's Map Book 946, <br />Block 3295, containing 7.25 acres, more <br />or less, <br />or that property generally located at the southwest <br />corner of Santa Rita Road and Valley Avenue. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council the <br />approval of said zone change amendment as petitioned <br />in light of the applicant's agreement noted in letter <br />dated March 24, 1970, in which they state they will <br />not apply for design plans and building permit until <br />final action by City Council has been taken on said <br />C-S changes. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 8th day of April, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Gibbs, Pereira and <br />Chairman Garrigan <br />Noes: Commissioner Pons <br />Absent: Commissioner Antonini <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Aiello <br />Date: April 8, 1970 <br />A tt~,ef s <br />~~ ~` 'y, ~ <br />Vincent P.
