CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-350 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FUNDING OF $1,500.00 TO EMERGENCY <br /> SERVICES NETWORK OF ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Mercer received a request from the Emergency <br /> Services Network of Alameda County (ESN) to join other <br /> Alameda County cities in participating in the funding of <br /> this organization; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ESN provides coordination, advocacy, and planning <br /> activities for providers of services to the homeless and <br /> hungry citizens of Alameda County; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the funding request of $1,500.00 to the <br /> Emergency Services Network of Alameda County, enabling <br /> the ESN to continue its coordination, advocacy and <br /> planning activities on behalf of the homeless and <br /> hungry. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 4, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None T~R/ERCER~ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KEN <br /> <br />//'James ~.'
