PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1010 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council <br />the adoption of Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 70-6, <br />filed by the Planning Commission. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 70-6, <br />to reclassify those properties currently located <br />on the north and south sides of Sonoma Drive from <br />the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the S (Study) <br />District; said properties more precisely defined as <br />Lots 27-38 inclusive, Tract 2527, Assessor's Map <br />Book 946. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Pia n, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby resolves that the area in <br />question and previously encompassed under the Sunol <br />Boulevard Study, be retained in the I-P (Industrial <br />Park) District, with the further stipulation that if <br />some other light industrial or commercial service use <br />be proposed to the City, the City Council shall <br />consider and approve said proposal. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 27th day of May, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Antonini, Gibbs, Pereira, <br />Pons and Chairman Carrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: May 27,-1 <br /> <br />J.
