PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1017 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Harold Yetter for a home occu- <br />pation to conduct a sales and repair of firearms <br />business in an R-1 (Single Family) District, at <br />343 Mavis Drive, has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BS IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton hereby denies said application <br />subject to the following reasons: <br />1. That the sale or service of firearms within <br />residential neighborhoods should be discouraged, <br />particularly when children reside in the immediate <br />vicinity. <br />2. That said use be discouraged, as it is not <br />incidental to the use of the home. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton on the 24th day of June, 1970, by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons <br />and Wood. <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: Chairman Carrigan <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: June 24, 1970 <br />
