PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 201A <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton, recommending to the City <br />Council the approval of Zone Change No. 70-8, <br />filed by Mrs. M. Kathleen Morine and Miss Carole M. <br />Ferreira. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered Zone Change Petition No. 70-8, <br />filed by Mrs. M. Kathleen Morine and Miss Carole M. <br />Ferreira, to prezone from the County's A (Agricultural) <br />District, to the City of Pleasanton's P (Public and <br />Institutional) District, that property described <br />as follows: <br />Parcel 69, Block 1049, Book 941, <br />Alameda County Assessor's Office, <br />containing more or less 2.07 acres, <br />or that property commonly known as 4943 Foothill <br />Road. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on <br />this petition and has examined the pertinent <br />maps, drawings and documents and finds that one <br />or more of the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council <br />the approval of said zone change amendment as <br />petitioned, pending certification of annexation to <br />the City of Pleasanton. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 22nd day of July, 1970, by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Wood <br />and Chairman Carrigan <br />NOES: Commissioner Pons <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />Date: July <br />Atte~~~ ~ ,,/~ " ~ <br />/ / % <br />Ri ardo J. tro, Secretary Howard T. arrigan, airman <br />
