PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1.021 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton, recommending to the City Council the <br />approval of Zone Change No. 70-9, filed by Raymond D. <br />Young. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />considered Zone Amendment Petition No. 70-9, filed <br />by Raymond D. Young to amend Title II, Article 8, <br />Sec. 2-7.05 of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton, to change the zone district designation from <br />the C-F (Commercial Freeway) District to the C-S <br />(Commercial Service) District, that property described <br />as follows: <br />A portion of Parcel 8-2, Block 3370, <br />Book 946, of Alameda County Assessor's Office, <br />containing 25,000 sq.ft., more or less, <br />or that property generally located west of Santa Rita <br />Road between the Arroyo del Valle and the Western <br />Pacific Railroad. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the following <br />conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to <br />the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest <br />and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equit- <br />able condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the <br />approval of said zone change amendment as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND AI>OPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 22nd day of July, 1970, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons, Wood <br />and Chairman Carrigan <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />Date: July 22, 197 <br />---., <br />1 <br />Atte~~.~ J '' // <br />/ ' <br />_~ ;; <br />~_. -~~~ ~`,i.
