PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1022 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City <br />Council the creation of the Light Industrial <br />District. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered this matter to review and re-evaluate <br />the need for said district, by the addition of <br />Sec. 2-7.20, Subsection 3a, Light Industrial District, <br />and to Section 2-7.21, Subsection 3a, Light Industrial <br />District, and to also amend Section 2-7.22 to include <br />the Light Industrial District to Article 9, Chapter 2, <br />of Title II. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this matter <br />and has examined pertinent documents and finds that <br />one or more of the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equit- <br />able condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council the <br />creation of said Light Industrial District. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 22nd day of July, 1970, by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons, <br />Wood and Chairman Carrigan <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ATTEST: Secretary Castro <br />Date: July 22.,_.970 <br />A <br />J.
