CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> DOWNTOWN FINANCING STUDY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> August , 1987, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and <br />ECONOMIC AND PLANNING SYSTEMS, (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant" ) . <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their services. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in cons ideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant ' s Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, <br />and so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", "Scope of Services," attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of <br />the area on file, and necessary direction within a reasonable <br />time. <br /> <br /> SR87:354 <br /> <br /> <br />
