PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1032 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the <br />granting of Zone Change Amendment No. 70-15. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at the request of the City <br />Council, has considered Zone Change Amendment No. 70-15 <br />to consider the revision of the existing commercial <br />zoning of C-F (Commercial Freeway) and C-S (Coauaercial <br />Service) Districts on those properties described as <br />Parcels 5-4 and 5-3, respectively, Block 157 of Book 94 <br />of the Alameda County Assessor's Office; said properties <br />more commonly known as the Catholic Church property and <br />lands of the City and County of San Francisco, located <br />south of Bernal Avenue and west of Main Street, <br />containing more or less 22.62 acres. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />matter and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that the following conditions <br />do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equit- <br />able condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council the <br />approval of RZ-70-15, to rezone said parcels to the <br />0(Office), P (Public and Institutional) and I-P (Indus- <br />trial Park) Districts, said zoning as noted on Exhibit A. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 26th day of August, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons, Wood <br />and Chairman Carrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Howard T. lSarrigan, Chairman <br />Date: August 26, 1970 <br />
