PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1037 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton reaffirming to the City Council the action <br />previously taken on the Raymond D. Young application to <br />rezone said property from the C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />District to the C-S (Commercial Service) District, that <br />parcel generally located west of Santa Rita Road and <br />bounded by the Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way <br />and the Arroyo del Valle. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further considered the desirability <br />of rezoning the remainder of said parcel bounded by the <br />Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way, Santa Rita Road <br />and the Arroyo del Va11e to the C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a hearing on this <br />referral from City Council and has examined all pertinent <br />data and finds the following conditions in existence: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to <br />the spirit and intent of the General Plan. <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest <br />and general welfare. <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable <br />condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to City Council to uphold <br />the approval given to Raymond D. Young under Resolution <br />No. 1021; further, that the remainder of said parcel <br />bounded by Santa Rita Road, the Arroyo del Valle and <br />the Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way, be also recog- <br />nized as C-S (Commercial Service) District if and when <br />an application is submitted for said parcel. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of September, 1970, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira and Vice <br />Chairman Pons <br />Noes: <br />Absent: Commissioner Wood and Chairman Carrigan <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Secretary Castro <br />Date: September 10, 1470 <br />~_.~ 1 <br />i <br />~~- <br />Attest;/ -' ~1 <br />i <br />f ~--~ <br />Ric rdo J.
