,t <br />~ ' <br />' M <br />\. <br />~~ .. ,~,~~:t.. y , <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1043 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the. <br />City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council <br />the approval of General Plan Amendment No. 70-4. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the Citq of Pleasanton <br />has reviewed GP-70-4 to consider several General <br />Plan amendments for that area generally encompassing <br />the four quadrants located at the interchange of <br />7k680 and Bernal Avenue; also saidamendment to <br />consider those properties located on both the east <br />and west sides of Foothill Road between West Las <br />Positas Boulevard and Castlewood Drive, said General <br />Plan review to reevaluate the existing .zoning that <br />is now applicable to those properties within the <br />City Limits, as well as Co reevaluate the land use <br />recommendations offered by the General Plan; the <br />area containing more or less 154 acres. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />matter and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds 'that one or more of the y~ <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed-amendment will not be. contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more <br />equitable condition for the community than now <br />prevails. <br />NQW, THEREFORE BE IT RFA$OLVED,'&hat the Planning Commission of the City ': <br />of Pieasanton'hereby recommends to the City Council <br />that GP-70-4t be approved as per recommendations noted <br />in the PlanningDepartment staff report dated <br />October 27, 1970, with the following modification: <br />That modification being that the C-F (Commercial <br />Freeway) District recommended for the northeast and <br />southeast quadrants at the interchange of Bernal <br />Avenue and Interstate 3k680 remain as recommended by <br />.. the General Plan, as I-P (Industrial Park) District. <br />It should beclearly understood that the recommen- <br />dation made by the Planning Commission is merely an <br />;. . ,. <br />., <br /> <br />
