CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-340 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO SIERRA PRECAST, <br /> INC., FOR PIMLICO DRIVE SOUNDWALL, PROJECT NO. NPID NO. <br /> 3, 82-4D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> installation of the Pimlico Drive soundwall, Project No. <br /> NPID No. 3, 82-4D; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., the <br /> City Engineering Services Division advertised for bids <br /> regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on August 4, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Sierra Precast, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $267,017.98 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities recommended <br /> that the bid of Sierra Precast, Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Sierra Precast, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $267,017.98, for Pimlico Drive soundwall improvements, <br /> Project No. NPID No. 3, 82-4D, is hereby accepted by the <br /> City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Mayor is authorized to execute a contract with <br /> Sierra Precast, Inc. for the improvements specified <br /> above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
