CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-336 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF CONFIRMATION OF THE COST ACCOUNTING REPORT <br /> FOR 1987 WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an itemized written report showing the cost of nuisance <br /> abatement on a lot by lot basis throughout the City of <br /> Pleasanton for those lots upon or in front of which <br /> weeds existed, and were not abated voluntarily by the <br /> owners thereof, was presented before the Council at its <br /> meeting of August 4, 1987; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The costs of the abatement are deemed by law to <br /> constitute a special assessment against and a alien upon <br /> the parcel of property and shall be added by the <br /> Treasurer-Tax Collector to the next regular tax bill for <br /> each parcel as stated on the written report received <br /> from the City of Pleasanton Fire Department. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 4, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~M~j/6~/ <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ERCER, MAYOR <br /> <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City C].erk <br /> MacDona~d/~t~ttorney <br /> <br /> <br />
