PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1057 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the approval <br />of Zone Change No. 70-16, filed by Russell G. Jones. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has <br />considered Zone Change Petition No. 70-16, filed by <br />Russell G. Jones, to rezone from the A (Agricultural) <br />District to the City of Pleasanton's P (Public and <br />Institutional) District and the RM-2000 (Multiple) District, <br />that property described as: <br />Parcels (1-3) and (2-2), Block 3370 <br />Book 946 of Alameda County Assessor's Office, <br />containing 9.7 acres, more or less, <br />or that property generally located north of the Arroyo <br />Del Valle and adjacent to the west boundary line of the <br />Amador Valley High School site on Santa Rita Road. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this petition <br />and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and docwnents <br />and finds that one or more of the following conditions do <br />exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to <br />the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest <br />and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable <br />condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the <br />approval of RZ-70-16, as petitioned. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 12th day of January, 1971, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Date: January 12, 1971 <br />Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Wood and <br />Vice Chairman Pons <br />Chairman Carrigan <br />Acting Secretary Aiello <br />Attest <br />Vince Aiello, Acting Secretary <br />Eu ne D.
