PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California RESOLUTION N0. 1057 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the approval of Zone Change No. 70-16, filed by Russell G. Jones. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has considered Zone Change Petition No. 70-16, filed by Russell G. Jones, to rezone from the A (Agricultural) District to the City of Pleasanton's P (Public and Institutional) District and the RM-2000 (Multiple) District, that property described as: Parcels (1-3) and (2-2), Block 3370 Book 946 of Alameda County Assessor's Office, containing 9.7 acres, more or less, or that property generally located north of the Arroyo Del Valle and adjacent to the west boundary line of the Amador Valley High School site on Santa Rita Road. WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this petition and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and docwnents and finds that one or more of the following conditions do exist: 1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, 2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest and general welfare, 3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the approval of RZ-70-16, as petitioned.
