PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California RESOLUTION NO. 1062 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the denial of Besco Builders' request for credit for park dedication im- provements for their Las Positas (P.U.D.) development located on the west side of Santa Rita Road, north of the Arroyo Mocho and within Tentative Tract #3232. WHEREAS, said matter was discussed by the Planning Commission at their meeting of January 26, 1971, wherein extensive testimony for and against said credit was taken, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed said matter within the confines noted in Park Dedication Ordinance No. 439 and City Council Resolution No. 68-192, and found the following to be in evidence: 1. That Besco Builders, although providing considerable open space and private recreatic facilities within their development, still does not meet all the requirements necessary, as noted under Resolution No. 68-192, to qualify for fee credit. 2. That the proposed private recreation area provided by Besco does not significantly relie the City from providing neighborhood park services to this development. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of th City of Pleasanton hereby upholds the recommen dation of the Parks and Recreation Commission under their Resolution No. R-70-23, denying to Besco Builders credit against their park dedication requirement.
