PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0. 1068 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the approval <br />of RZ-70-17. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has reviewed RZ-70-17 to consider specific zoning <br />districts in accordance with the Pleasanton General <br />Plan as amended by Resolution No. 1043 to an area <br />containing approximately 17.45 acres, and Located <br />generally southeast of the intersection of Bernal <br />Avenue and Foothill Road, Pleasanton, <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />matter and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings <br />and documents and finds that one or more of the <br />following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable <br />condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the <br />approval of RZ-70-17, subject to the following modi- <br />fications: <br />1. That the 4.88 acres of C-C (Community Commercial) <br />and 8.32 acres of C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) be <br />rezoned to 5..8 acres of C-N (Commercial Neighborhood). <br />2. That the 4.25 acres of 0 (Office) District be <br />rezoned to 1.0 acres of 0 (Office) District. <br />3. That 10.65 acres of the remaining land be rezoned <br />to the RM-2500 (Multiple) District. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 23rd day of February, 1971, by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Pons, Wood <br />and Chairman Carrigan <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: Acting Secretary Aiello <br />Date: February 23, 1971 <br />Attes ~ <br />7,~~ ~,~~~ u~ ~L <br />Vince Aiello, Acting Secretary oward T.
