PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California RESOLUTION N0. 1068 A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the approval of RZ-70-17. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton has reviewed RZ-70-17 to consider specific zoning districts in accordance with the Pleasanton General Plan as amended by Resolution No. 1043 to an area containing approximately 17.45 acres, and Located generally southeast of the intersection of Bernal Avenue and Foothill Road, Pleasanton, WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this matter and has examined the pertinent maps, drawings and documents and finds that one or more of the following conditions do exist: 1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, 2. That the proposed amendment is in the public interest and general welfare, 3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equitable condition for the community than now prevails. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council the approval of RZ-70-17, subject to the following modi- fications: 1. That the 4.88 acres of C-C (Community Commercial) and 8.32 acres of C-N (Commercial Neighborhood) be rezoned to 5..8 acres of C-N (Commercial Neighborhood). 2. That the 4.25 acres of 0 (Office) District be rezoned to 1.0 acres of 0 (Office) District. 3. That 10.65 acres of the remaining land be rezoned to the RM-2500 (Multiple) District.
