6. The City should insure that the deed
restrictions clearly indicate the responsibil-
ities of the owners for pavement repair, street
sweeping and other items.
7. Because of the complexities of these types
of developments it may be difficult to determine
precisely where the City's responsibility ends
and the homeowner's association begins. For
this reason, it is suggested that a possible ~~
way to delineate this would be to indicate the
limits clearly on a set of drawings of the
improvements which would be an exhibit attached
to the City Council Resolution accepting the
public improvements in each subdivision.
8. The question of storm drainage will need to
be handled on a case by case basis and may be
resolved on the basis of size or extent to which
the system drains public streets. That part
of the systems related to common areas that in
effect replace private yards should clearly be
the responsibility of the owners.
9. That the policy adopted for street light-
ing within private street developments parallel
and follow that which applies to maintenance of
street lights in public streets.
?ASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Pleasanton on the 9th day of March, 1971, by
the following vote:
Ayes: Commissioners Hirst, Pons, Wood and
Chairman Carrigan
Noes:
Absent: Commissioner Pereira
Abstain:
Attest: Acting Secretary Aiello
March 9, 1971
test:

ello, Acting Secretary
