PLANNING C04II9ISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />RESOLUTION N0, 1077 <br />A resolution of the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Pleasanton recommending to the City Council the <br />approval of an amendment to Sec. 2-7.08 of Article 8, <br />Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered an amendment to review and re-evaluate <br />Sec. 2-7.08 to add as a conditional use, "Furniture <br />Upholstery Shops" in the C-C (Community Commercial) <br />District. <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held a Public Hearing on this <br />amendment and has examined pertinent documents and <br />finds that one or more of the following conditions <br />do exist: <br />1. That the proposed amendment will not be contrary <br />to the spirit and intent of the General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed amendment is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed amendment creates a more equit- <br />able condition for the community than now prevails. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Planning Commission hereby <br />recommends to City Council the amendment to Sec.2-7.08 <br />to add as a Conditional Use, "Furniture Upholstery <br />Shops" in the C-C (Community Commercial) District. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 23rd day of March, 1971, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Attest: <br />Date: March 23, 1971 <br />Commissioners Hirst, Pereira, Wood and <br />Vice Chairman Pons <br />Chairman Carrigan <br />Acting Secretary Aiello <br />Attest• <br />Vince Aiello, Acting Secretary <br /> <br />Eugene D.
