CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-327 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MASTER PLAN FOR AUGUSTIN BERNAL <br /> COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 21, 1987, Council reviewed the <br />report of the Director of Parks and Community Services <br />(SR87:334) regarding the proposed master plan for <br />improvements to Augustin Bernal Park, including <br />development of a staging area (parking, picnic areas, <br />restrooms), reconstruction and maintenance of <br />hiking/equestrian trails, establishment of primitive <br />campsites, and other related improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based onthe Initial Environmental Study indicating no <br /> significant adverse effects onthe environment, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on July 21, <br /> 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Park and Recreation Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the Master Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held regarding the <br /> proposed master plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City -Council finds that this Master Plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves the Master Plan for Augustin Bernal <br />Community Park as submitted by Kent Watson and <br />Associates, except eliminating the campsites. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
