CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-326 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> MASTER PLAN FOR AUGUSTIN BERNAL PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 21, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of the City of Pleasanton for approval of <br /> the master plan for improvements to Augustin Bernal <br /> Park, including development of a staging area (parking, <br /> picnic areas, restrooms), reconstruction and maintenance <br /> of hiking/equestrian trails, establishment of primitive <br /> campsites, and other related improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated February 11, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed master plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed master plan <br /> would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of the City of Pleasanton for approval of the master <br /> plan for improvements to Augustin Bernal Park, including <br /> development of a staging area (parking, picnic areas, <br /> restrooms), reconstruction and maintenance of <br /> hiking/equestrian trails, establishment of primitive <br /> campsites, and other related improvements. <br /> <br /> <br />
