<br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON Exhibit B <br />COUNTY OF ALAP4EDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-77-39 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING DESIGN PLANS <br />TO CONSTRUCT A SAVINGS AND LOAN BUILDING AND <br />A RETAIL COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MAIN <br />STREET AND ABBIE STREET FILED UNDER Z-77-97. <br />WHEREAS, E. A. Hathaway has applied for design reviecv approval <br />to construct a savings and loan building and a retail <br />commercial building on property located at the north- <br />east corner of Main Street and Abbie Street; and <br />~ilI-iEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial} <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, the Design Review Board held a public hearing on <br />July 13, when all pertinent maps, drawings, documents, <br />reports and testimony were reviewed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Design Review Board approves Z-77-97, subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown <br />on the site plan and elevations, Exhibit A, and <br />the landscape plan, Exhibit B, on file with the <br />Plan~iing Department except that the two existing <br />trees in the parking area (40" locust and 36" maple) <br />be retained if they are deter-mined to be healthy <br />and that a G'-high solid fence be constructed <br />along the eastern property line of the subject <br />property. <br />2. That approval of these plans does not constitute <br />approval of signing for the project and that a <br />comprehensive detailed signing program for the <br />project be submitted under separate application. <br />3. That the street number of the buildings be posted <br />so as to be easily seen from the street at all <br />times, day and night. <br />9. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment, <br />and any other mechanical equipment, whether on <br />the structure, on the. ground, or elsewhere, be <br />effectively screened from view with materials <br />architecturally compatible with the main structure. <br />
