DESIGN REVIEW BOARD CITY OF PLEASANTON Exhibit B COUNTY OF ALAP4EDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. R-77-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING DESIGN PLANS TO CONSTRUCT A SAVINGS AND LOAN BUILDING AND A RETAIL COMMERCIAL BUILDING ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF MAIN STREET AND ABBIE STREET FILED UNDER Z-77-97. WHEREAS, E. A. Hathaway has applied for design reviecv approval to construct a savings and loan building and a retail commercial building on property located at the north- east corner of Main Street and Abbie Street; and ~ilI-iEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial} District; and WHEREAS, the Design Review Board held a public hearing on July 13, when all pertinent maps, drawings, documents, reports and testimony were reviewed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Design Review Board approves Z-77-97, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan and elevations, Exhibit A, and the landscape plan, Exhibit B, on file with the Plan~iing Department except that the two existing trees in the parking area (40" locust and 36" maple) be retained if they are deter-mined to be healthy and that a G'-high solid fence be constructed along the eastern property line of the subject property. 2. That approval of these plans does not constitute approval of signing for the project and that a comprehensive detailed signing program for the project be submitted under separate application. 3. That the street number of the buildings be posted so as to be easily seen from the street at all times, day and night. 9. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the. ground, or elsewhere, be effectively screened from view with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure.
