CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-322 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-568 FIXING <br /> SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL <br /> EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, senior public works inspector classification has been <br /> removed from the PCEA bargaining unit due to management <br /> responsibilities in the daily operation of the public <br /> works inspection function; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a salary range for the classification must be <br /> established; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the PCEA salary increase, a discrepancy <br /> exists between lead public works inspectors, field <br /> services supervisors and the support services <br /> supervisor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager presented his report (SR87:324) <br /> regarding the necessary actions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 86-568 is amended to establish a <br /> salary range for the senior public works inspector of <br /> $2,810 to $3,653, effective February 28, 1987. <br /> <br />Section 2: Resolution No. 86-568 is further amended to increases <br /> the salary ranges of the field services supervisors and <br /> support services supervisor three percent, (3%) <br /> effective July 21, 1987. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JULY 21, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wilson and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler //~/U~/ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: _-_ <br /> KENNETH R.
