CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-561 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF ART DUNKLEY FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO REDESIGNATE AN APPROXIMATELY 0.32 ACRE PARCEL FROM "OPEN SPACE" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" (GP-85-10) WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 15, 1987, Council reviewed the application of Art Dunkley for a General Plan Amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an approximately 0.32 acre parcel on the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street and Stanley Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial and Offices"; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the proposed change and has made its recommendation; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City Council at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on this amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment and adopted Resolution No. 87-560 approving the Negative Declaration; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Art Dunkley for a General Plan Amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an approximately 0.32 acre parcel on the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street and Stanley Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial and Offices" (GP-85-10). Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of four times in 1987 that the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code Section 65631.
