CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-561 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF ART DUNKLEY FOR <br /> A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE <br /> GENERAL PLAN TO REDESIGNATE AN APPROXIMATELY 0.32 ACRE <br /> PARCEL FROM "OPEN SPACE" TO "COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" <br /> (GP-85-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 15, 1987, Council reviewed <br /> the application of Art Dunkley for a General Plan <br /> Amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> redesignate an approximately 0.32 acre parcel on the <br /> southwest corner of the intersection of First Street and <br /> Stanley Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial and <br /> Offices"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing on the <br /> proposed change and has made its recommendation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the City <br /> Council at which time any member of the public was <br /> offered the opportunity to address the City Council on <br /> this amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that a Negative Declaration <br /> was appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendment <br /> and adopted Resolution No. 87-560 approving the Negative <br /> Declaration; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Art Dunkley for a General <br /> Plan Amendment to the Land Use Element of the General <br /> Plan to redesignate an approximately 0.32 acre parcel on <br /> the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street <br /> and Stanley Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial <br /> and Offices" (GP-85-10). <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Council determines that this is one of four <br /> times in 1987 that the Land Use Element of the General <br /> Plan is amended as authorized by Government Code Section <br /> 65631. <br /> <br /> <br />
