CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-560 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> APPLICATION OF ART DUNKLEY FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT <br /> TO 'THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO <br /> REDESIGNATE AM APPROXIMATELY 0.32 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED ON <br /> THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF FIRST STREET <br /> AND STANLEY BOULEVARD FROM "OPEN 8PACE" TO "COMMERCIAL <br /> AND OFFICES" (GP-85-10) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 15, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of Art Dunkley for a General Plan amendment <br /> to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to <br /> redesignate an approximately 0.32 acre parcel located on <br /> the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street <br /> and Stanley Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial <br /> and Offices" (GP-85-10); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 16, 1985 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan <br /> Amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan <br /> Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of Art Dunkley for a General Plan amendment to the Land <br /> Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an <br /> approximately 0.32 acre parcel located on the southwest <br /> corner of the intersection of First Street and Stanley <br /> Boulevard from "Open Space" to "Commercial and Offices" <br /> (GP-85-10). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
