CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-558 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br /> LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br /> AMENDING SECTION 3 TO ESTABLISH A STOP SIGN AT GOLDEN <br /> ROAD AND HARVEST ROAD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 12, 1976, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br /> for City Streets); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br /> Resolution No. 76-79; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 15, 1987, the City Council <br /> received and discussed a report (SR 87:541) from the <br /> Director of Public Works and Utilities related to <br /> changing the stop at Golden Road and Harvest Road from a <br /> two way stop to a four way stop by adding stop signs on <br /> Golden Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br /> No. 76-79 to add subsection 3g-2 establishing stop signs <br /> on Golden Road; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing <br /> Traffic Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended <br /> by adding subsection 3g-2 as follows: <br /> <br /> 3g-2 Golden Road, at Harvest Road; stopping traffic on <br /> Golden Road in both directions. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 15, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KENNETH R.
