RESOLUTION N0.07-154 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />CONCERNING COMPENSATION FOR MICHAEL H. ROUSH AS CITY ATTORNEY <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, Michael H. Roush was appointed City Attorney of the City of Pleasanton on <br />September 26, 1988 with compensation and benefits established in Resolution Nos. 88-476, 00- <br />007 and 04-085; and <br />WHEREAS, other benefits for the City Attorney, as a management employee, were most <br />recently established by the adoption of Resolution No. 06-073 approving the City's 2006-2007 <br />Management/Confidential Performance Compensation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in order to amend the City <br />Attorney's compensation resolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. The annual salary for the City Attorney is adjusted to $187,370 effective <br />September 1, 2007. <br />SECTION 2. All other terms and conditions of employment as identified in Resolution <br />Nos. 88-476, 00-007 and 06-073 shall remain in full force and effect, provided however, that the <br />City Attorney's accrual rate for annual leave purposes should have been the same as other <br />management employees but inadvertently was not and therefore that rate shall be applied <br />retroactively from the City Attorney's tenth year of employment to the present. <br />SECTION 3. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br />the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on October 16, 2007. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16"' day of October <br />2007, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />L '~'f2 <br />Kare Diaz, City Cler <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />//~ ~~1/~ <br />Michael H.
