CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-539 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br /> MASTER PLAN FOR VETERAN'S PLAZA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 1, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the master <br /> plan for Veteran's Plaza; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 5, 1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed master plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed master plan <br /> would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the master plan <br /> for Veteran's Plaza. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 1, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None K N E~H~R~, <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> Peter D.
