SCOPE OF SERVICES

We understand that CH2M Hill is the geotechnical engineer-of-
record for the project for which we have been asked to serve as
the testing laboratory. The project schedule is at this time not
complete; however, the density testing operations are anticipated
to take 8 months. During this time, BSK will be retained to
perform soil density testing and concrete cylinder testing under
the auspices of members of the CH2M Hill staff. The method and
frequency of such testing will be performed in accordance with
the project plans and specifications, as directed by CH2M Hill
staff.

Soil samples will be obtained for moisture-density relationships
in accordance with specifications. Trench backfill and mass
grading soils will be tested on an intermittent basis throughout
the construction.

Results of field observation and construction will be presented
to you in monthly summary reports reviewed and signed by a
registered Civil Engineer. You would be notified of any observed
discrepancies between test and observation results and those
required by project plans and specifications. Copies of reports
and testing would be provided to governmental agencies upon
request.
