" RESOLUTION N0. 82-80 James R: V"JU{ker' .~~~c~~;..~ City Clerk RESOLL'TIOT1 APPROVING A COOPERATIVE AGP.EEP~IENT WITH CALTRAIJS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK ALONG THE FOOTHILL ROAD-SAN RAMON ROAD OVERPASS OF I-580 WHEREAS, the: City Council has indicated its interest in a joint project with CALTRAIdS for construction of a sidewalk on the easterly side of San Ramon Road-Foothill P.oad between Canyon Way and'Dublin Boulevard (including the overpass of I-580); and WHEREAS, CALTRANS has prepared plans for the work and a Cooperative Agreement, which calls for the Gity to pay approximately $11,600 for its pro rata share of the project (consisting of the work located within the City of Pleasanton and outside the State right-of-way); and WHEREAS, at its meeting of r2arch 9, 198.2, the City Council C reviewed the Cooperative Agreement along with a report from~the Director of Public Works and Utilities; NOW, THEP.EFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 Approves .the Cooperative Agreement between the .City of Pleasanton anc~ CALTP.ANS for construction of a sidewalk on the easterly side of San Ramon Road-Foothill Road between Canyon kTay and Dublin Boulevard in the vicinity of I-580.... Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute the Cooperative Agreement. Section 3: Amends the 1981-82 .Capital Improvements (Streets) budget in the sum of $11,600 for the above-mentioned. sidewalk construction. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED 2~ARCH 9, 1982 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
