Box 520 Pleasanton CA 94566 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 87-523 RESOLUTION VACATING A COMMON AREA EASEMENT ON LOT 4A OF LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT 87-11 WHEREAS, on December 1, 1987, the City Council received a staff report (SR 87:513) recommending the vacation of a common area easement on Lot 4A of Lot Line Adjustment 87-11, more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached , hereto and incorporated heroin by this reference; and WHEREAS, due to the redesignated land use to high density residential, the existing common area easement is no longer needed to serve the original intended use, which was for a decorative sign for the entrance to Hacienda Business Park; and WHEREAS, the date of dedication of the public service easement was between one and five years preceding the proposed vacation and the easement has not been used since it was dedicated; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and based upon the findings above establishing the necessity to vacate the common area easement in a manner meeting the requirements of Section 8333, Subsection C of the Streets and Highways Code, those portions of the public service easement described in Exhibit "A" are hereby vacated. Section 2: The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation to be recorded in the office of the Alameda County Recorder. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
