CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-517 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL RESOLUTION OF HYDE PARK <br /> PROBLEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 17, 1987, Council reviewed <br /> the report of the City Attorney (SR 87:505) setting <br /> forth the status of the Hyde Park pedestrian access <br /> easement and offering several options; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, testimony was taken from various residents of the area; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based upon the testimony and the report of the City <br /> Attorney, Council finds that the proposed enhancement of <br /> the pedestrian access way is in the public interest; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Council approves Option 2 (the September 1987 <br /> Alternate Plan, which provides for selective removal of <br /> eucalyptus trees, relandscaping and replacement of the <br /> property line fence). <br /> <br /> Section 2: Approves a budget amendment to allocate $11,000 to <br /> complete the project provided the moneys are received <br /> from American Savings by January 1, 1988.
