She referred to Item 5 and asked if two additional at-large <br />representatives could be added to the Bicycle Advisory Commission and that one youth <br />representative be considered. City Manager Fialho said direction could be provided to staff to <br />ensure at least one of the four at-large representatives was a member of the youth community, <br />and Council agreed with the amendment. <br />Mike Moran voiced concern for bicycle and pedestrian safety and the need for new policies, said <br />the new intersection at Busch and Valley had no crossing or light buttons, said pedestrians must <br />cross the I-580 ramp across Santa Rita, Valley and Bernal had a nice bike path which was <br />moved and he agreed to email the list of concerns to the Mayor. Councilmember McGovern <br />encouraged Mr. Moran to apply for the new BPAC committee, given his interests in bicycle and <br />pedestrian safety. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Administrative Services <br />1. Approved special and regular meeting minutes of July 17, 2007 and special meeting <br />minutes of August 20, 2007, August 21, 2007 and August 28, 2007 <br />Finance <br />2. Accepted Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for July 2007 <br />Mayor <br />3. Continued to a future meeting -Commend individuals that assisted law enforcement in <br />carjacking case <br />Plannina <br />4. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />Public Works <br />5. Approved formation of a Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee to oversee the <br />development of the City of Pleasanton's Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan with the <br />addition of two bike riding members of the public and one youth commission <br />representative <br />6. Approved Final Map, Improvement Plans and Subdivision Agreement for Tract 7706 <br />(Kimberly Commons); authorized the City Manager to execute said agreement and accept <br />all parcels of land and easements offered for dedication on the Final Map <br />7. Accepted off-site improvements for Tract 7381, Ironwood Development (Ponderosa <br />Homes) and authorized the City Clerk to file a notice of completion <br />8. Declared a portion of Parcel C, Tract 7374 (Canyon Oaks) as surplus, and authorized the <br />City Manager to quitclaim the City's interest therein to the adjacent property owners <br />City Council Minutes 2 September 4, 2007 <br />
