BACKGROUND <br />On May 15, 2007 the City Council awarded a contract for the referenced project to <br />Chrisp Company for the bid amount of $127,314.25. The City Council also authorized <br />the Director of Public Works to approve change orders up to a contingency amount of <br />$19,100. Change orders in the amount of $8,460.90 were due to the addition of more <br />striping locations as requested by Traffic Engineering and the Police Department.
