CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-484 <br /> <br /> AMENDMENT TO TOW RATES, FEE8 AND OPERATING CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide fair, equitable and competitive <br /> towing services to the community, it is necessary and <br /> appropriate to amend the rates, fees and operating <br /> conditions for Pleasanton based on those set by the <br /> California Highway Patrol; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in addition, the Operating Conditions should be amended <br /> to add Section 9 to authorize the payment of a $25.00 <br /> removal fee for towing, storage and disposal of certain <br /> abandoned vehicles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 3, 1987, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Chief of Police regarding the <br /> proposed changes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The City Council hereby approves the amendment to the <br /> tow rates, fees and operating conditions as set forth on <br /> the attached exhibits. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 3, 1987 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> KE AYOR <br /> <br />/amesR.
