CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-488 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR TME <br /> APPLICATION OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY <br /> SAINTS FOR PUD REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> FOR A CHAPEL AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS AND A REMAINDER <br /> AREA FOR POTENTIAL FUTURE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON <br /> APPROXIMATELY 4.9 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 3574 VINEYARD <br /> AVENUE (PUD-S7-22) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 3, 1987, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for the <br /> application of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day <br /> Saints for Planned Unit development rezoning and <br /> development plan approval for an approximately 14,800 <br /> sq. ft. chapel and related improvements and a remainder <br /> area for potential future residential development to be <br /> located on an approximately 49 acre site located at 3574 <br /> Vineyard Avenue (PUD-87-22); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 6,1987 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed rezoning and <br /> development plan would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the application <br /> of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for <br /> Planned Unit development rezoning and development plan <br /> approval for an approximately 14,800 sq. ft. chapel and <br /> related improvements and a remainder area for potential <br /> future residential development to be located on an <br /> approximately 49 acre site located at 3574 Vineyard <br /> Avenue (PUD-87-22). <br /> <br /> <br />
