PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-63 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF REGENCY CENTERS/HOME DEPOT, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PCUP-165/PDR-529/PUD-91-25-7M <br />WHEREAS, Regency Centers/Home Depot has applied for PUD major modification, <br />conditional use permit, and design review approval to allow the construction of <br />193,481 square feet of commercial area, including a Home Depot building supply <br />store and garden center, a Long's Drug's pharmacy with drive-through, and <br />miscellaneous neighborhood retail stores including one drive-through, on an <br />approximately 16-acre parcel located at the Valley Avenue/Bernal Avenue/ <br />Stanley Boulevard intersection, in the Stanley Business Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated <br />October 17, 2006, and received the recommendation of staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 13, 2006, the Planning Commission received a <br />proposed Negative Declaration for Case PCUP-165/PDR-529/PUD-91-25-7M; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable State and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the site's wildlife. <br />
