PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2006-60 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF MIKE <br />RENQUIST FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-OI-9M <br />WHEREAS, Mike Renquist has applied for a major modification to an approved PUD for a <br />single-family lotto increase the maximum building height from 23 feet to 26 feet, <br />to allow a barrel the roof, and to allow design review approval by the Planning <br />Director at the property located at 2511 Yolanda Court, in the Vineyard Avenue <br />Comdor Specific Plan area; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-LDR (Planned Unit Development -Low Density <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of October 25, 2006, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the environmental review for this project was undertaken with an Initial <br />Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration approved by the City Council for PUD-O1 <br />in conformance with the standards of the California Environmental Quality <br />Act (CEQA); and there are no substantial changes to the project or to the <br />circumstances under which the project is being undertaken that involve new <br />significant environmental effects or that substantially increase the severity of <br />previously identified effects; furthermore, there is no new information of <br />substantial importance which was unknown at the time that the Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration was approved by the City Council regarding the project or <br />its effects, mitigation measures, or alternatives; and any previously identified <br />effects or impacts are mitigated to a level of insignificance with the mitigation <br />measures incorporated into the project's design or imposed on the project <br />pursuant to the conditions of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification would be <br />consistent with other recently approved projects in the area. <br />
