35. Prior to first framing inspection, the height of the primary structure shall be surveyed and <br />verified as being in conformance to the approved building height of 21 feet, 8-inches <br />from the finished grade to top roof. Please be advised that the total height includes roof- <br />sheathing, roof finish material, and all ridge caps. Said verifications are the project <br />developer's responsibility. <br />36. Prior to receiving a foundation inspection for the structure, the applicant shall submit a <br />pad elevation certification prepared by a licensed land surveyor or registered civil <br />engineer to the Chief Building Official and Planning Director, certifying that the pad <br />elevations and building location (setbacks) are pursuant to the approved plans. <br />37. The project developer shall submit a plot plan showing building setbacks and a <br />topographic plan showing grading and drainage. Pad elevations, finish floor elevations, <br />retaining walls, easements, and maximum height of the highest structure are to be <br />indicated on the plan. Plans shall be signed by a registered civil engineer and shall show <br />compliance with 2907(d) and 70012(d) of the Uniform Building Code. <br />38. The project developer shall submit fees for third party peer review of the soils report at <br />the time of building permit application. <br />39. The soils engineer shall certify the pad compactions of all lots containing fill to the <br />satisfaction of the Chief Building Official prior to the issuance of building permits. <br />40. Building and situs plans are to be submitted to the Building and Safety Division on <br />computer disk in a format approved by the Director. Digitized information shall be <br />submitted before requesting a final inspection and should reflect as-built situs and <br />architectural information as approved by the Director. <br />Construction Requirements: <br />41. All construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday <br />through Saturday. In addition, no construction shall be allowed on Federal Holidays. If <br />future complaints are received regarding the Saturday construction hours, the Planning <br />Director may modify or revoke the Saturday construction hours. The Planning Director <br />may allow earlier "start-times" for specific construction activities (e.g., concrete- <br />foundation/floor pouring), if it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Planning <br />Director that the construction and construction traffic noise will not affect nearby <br />residents. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) <br />noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. <br />42. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or <br />sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the <br />site at the end of each workday. <br />43. A temporary construction trailer shall be allowed on site during construction for use <br />during the allowed hours of operation. <br />6 <br />
