63. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject property <br />shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the project <br />developer. This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruction if deemed <br />warranted by the City Engineer. <br />64. The project developer's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City <br />Engineer prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site. <br />65. The project developer shall submit a construction Best Management Practices (BMP's) <br />program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of building <br />and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general contractor and <br />all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment. Construction site cleanup <br />and control of construction debris shall also be addressed. Failure to comply with the <br />approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of correction notices, citations, or <br />a stop work order. <br />Urban Stormwater Runoff Requirements <br />Stormwater Desien Requirements <br />66. The project shall comply with the Alameda Countywide NPDES Permit #CA50029831, a <br />copy of which is available at the City offices. <br />67. Prior to grading permit issuance the project developer shall submit a copy of the State <br />Water Resources Control Board Notice of Intent (NOI) for coverage under the State <br />Construction Storm Water General Permit for projects with clearing, grading and <br />excavation exceeding the current standards. <br />68. All metal roofs shall be finished with rust-inhibitive paint. <br />69. Roof drains shall discharge and drain away from the building foundation to an unpaved <br />area wherever practicable. <br />Stormwater Construction Requirements <br />70. The project development shall submit a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) <br />for review and approval by the City Engineer prior to issuance of building or grading <br />permits. Failure to comply with the approved construction SWPPP may result in the <br />issuance of correction notices, citations or stop work order. The following construction <br />Best Management Practices (BMPs), as well as any other applicable measure, shall be <br />included in the SWPPP and implemented as approved by the City. <br />71.
